Decent book for elasticity

I had to buy this book as the instructor suddenly changed the text that year only. This book is a decent introduction for elasticity. It is a first year graduate level book and introduces the topic of elasticity in a gentle manner. The one big problem with this book is that it has limited examples. However, it does solve several problems in linear elasticity and serves as a good reference material. It is a little too pricey. If not for my course, I would have definitely used some other text.
